If f%28x%29+=+5x%5E2-3x%2B1 find f%28-2%29 Just substitute -2 for x and solve.
f%28-2%29+=+5%28-2%29%5E2-3%28-2%29%2B1 Simplify.
f%28-2%29+=+5%284%29-%28-6%29%2B1
f%28-2%29+=+20%2B6%2B1
f%28-2%29+=+27
