I wouldn't solve it at all. In the first place, you can't solve something that lacks a relational operator, that is , , , , or , that shows a relationship between two quantities.

You might be able to simplify the expression if f and g are functions and you took the trouble to define the functions, but as it is there is nothing whatever that can be done with the expression you provided.

Perhaps you thought this was the Psychic Hot Line?
