Question 582592: what is domain for f(x)=x-2 divided by 3x+4
Answer by nyc_function(2741) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The domain will be all values for x that will not produce a zero in the denominator. Remember, division by zero does not exist.
To find your domain, set the denominator to zero and solve for x.
3x + 4 = 0
3x = -4
x = -4/3
The domain is ALL REAL NUMBERS except that x CANNOT be -4/3.
