It's actually a Physics Equation... but I won't get in depth into that
Since this is purely math, think of the equation as k=xy
k = P
x = I
y = V
This equation is inversely proportional, when I increases, P is constant, V decreases
But since P can also change, when P increases, assuming V constant, I increases
When P increases, assuming I constant, V also increases

So basically, use it...
