Question 41774: what is the differences of function to relation?
Answer by psbhowmick(878) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! If x and y are in variation then their relationship is not a function. A function involving x and y has to be a mathematical relation, but, a mathematical relation need not be a function e.g. variation.
