Question 380390: Find the domain of the function.
f(x)=|x+8|
Answer by kingme18(98) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The domain of a function is the set of values x can take. For an absolute value function, there is no limit on the x values. The domain would be from -infinity to infinity: (-inf, inf) Every single value of x works, so there are no breaks in it.
The range (had you asked for it) is 0 and above, since absolute value is always nonnegative.
