The denominator of a fraction can never equal zero. This is the key to defining the domain. So x%5E2-36=0 is never in the domain. Solve this and you will find the two numbers that are not in the domain. All others are.
x%5E2=36
x=6,x=-6
Therefore, the domain is all real numbers except 6 and -6.
