however , the expression can be factored
the "x" (2nd) term , is the result of "combining" the factors
___ of the "x^2" (1st) term , and the constant (3rd) term
___ think of it as a "reverse" FOILing operation
because the 2nd term is negative with the 1st and 3rd terms positive
___ one set of factors will be positive and one set will be negative
using the factors 1x and 6x for the 1st term
___ and the factors -1 and -5 for the 3rd term
the expression factors to ___ (6x - 5)(x - 1)
