To find the inverse of a function, first use x and y as dependent and independent variables.

y=x%5E%281%2F7%29
Now interchange x and y and solve for y.
y=x%5E%281%2F7%29
highlight%28x%29=highlight%28y%29%5E%281%2F7%29
y=x%5E7
