Question 123823This question is from textbook Precalculus Graphical, Numerical, Algebraic
: Can you please help me answer this question?
Find f(g(x)) and state its domain. f(x)=x^3,g(x)=3sqrt(1-x^3)
My answer options:
A.f(g(x))=sqrtx^3, domain:(neg. infinity, pos. infinity)
B.f(g(x))=1-x^3, domain:(neg. infinity, pos. infinity)
c.f(f(x))=0, domain:(-1,1)
D.f(g(x))=x^3, domain: [-1,1]
This is written exact.
Hope you can help me, thank you?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Find f(g(x)) and state its domain. f(x)=x^3,g(x)=cube root(1-x^3)
My answer options:
A.f(g(x))=sqrtx^3, domain:(neg. infinity, pos. infinity)
B.f(g(x))=1-x^3, domain:(neg. infinity, pos. infinity)
c.f(f(x))=0, domain:(-1,1)
D.f(g(x))=x^3, domain: [-1,1]
---------------------------------
f(g(x)) = f[cube root(1-x^3)] = [cube root(1-x^3)]^3 = 1-x^3
------------
Answer: B
