It does not contain variable  " x "  in positive degrees;

in opposite,  it contains variable  " x "  in negative degrees only - - -

hence,  it is not a polynomial function of variable  " x ".


But one can say that it is a polynomial function of variable   1%2Fx   ( ! )

And it is truly true.

It is not a polynomial function.

In a polynomial, the exponent on the variable in each term must be a non-negative integer.

The first term, 6 (=6x^0) is allowed because 0 is a non-negative integer.

The second term is not allowed, because -6 is not a non-negative integer.
