we can rewrite the term x^2 - 1 ÷ x - 1 as (x-1)(x+1)/(x-1) knowing that x cant be 1 we get x+1
Now we have to look for domain and range of (x, x+1) where x belongs to R and x is not equal to one
Domain x can be any number except one
Range can be any number except one
