Question 1015961: Hi,
I'm working on my homework and came across a confusing problem. Could you possibly help? The problem states: "Write an equation in standard form of the line satisfying the given conditions. 'has no slope and passes through (-6, 4)." Thank you!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! "Write an equation in standard form of the line satisfying the given conditions. 'has no slope and passes through (-6,4)."
----------
"has no slope" is not clear.
It might mean the slope = zero, or that the slope is infinite or undefined.
-------
If it's zero, that's parallel to the x-axis, often called horizontal.
The y value doesn't change.
--> y = 4
============================
If it's undefined, or "vertical," the x-value doesn't change.
--> x = -6

You can put this solution on YOUR website! If it has no slope, I understand that to mean the slope is undefined. That makes it a vertical line.
x=-6 is the equation.
Don't confuse this with a slope of 0, that would be y=4
