I'm assuming the original is f%28x%29+=+1%2F%28x%2B2%29


The idea is to first replace f(x) with y. Then swap x and y. Finally, solve for y.


f%28x%29=+1%2F%28x%2B2%29
y+=+1%2F%28x%2B2%29
x+=+1%2F%28y%2B2%29
x%28y%2B2%29+=+1
xy%2B2x+=+1
xy+=+-2x%2B1
y+=+%28-2x%2B1%29%2Fx


So the inverse function is
