length of the flag = 1.2 yards
breadth of the flag = 0.5 yards

so, area of the flag = 1.2 * 0.5 yards = 0.60 yards
cost of the material for 1 yard = $ 1.75
so, cost of the material for the flag = $ 1.75 * 0.60 = $ 1.0500
