You can put this solution on YOUR website! Square root function is related to squaring function in that one is like the inverse of the other. What is g(x), the upper half of a horizontal parabola, from a parabola with symmetry axis parallel to the x axis.
Sketching the graph is a good idea:
DOMAIN? What can x be? What can x NOT be?
RANGE? Same questions. Can you find any value of x for which y is -100? How can y be -25? Can y be +350? Why or why not?
