Square root function is related to squaring function in that one is like the inverse of the other. What is g(x), the upper half of a horizontal parabola, from a parabola with symmetry axis parallel to the x axis.

Sketching the graph is a good idea:

DOMAIN? What can x be? What can x NOT be?
RANGE? Same questions. Can you find any value of x for which y is -100? How can y be -25? Can y be +350? Why or why not?
