You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First thing is to 'undo' those fractions by multiplying!
i.e. multiply across all terms by the denominators of the fractions. Let's do this one step at a time, first we'll multiply by 2, the denominator of the first term.
Giving
2%28x%2F2%29-2%28x%2F3%29=2%281%29
Simplifying this gives
x-2x%2F3=2
See how that first fraction has disappeared! Now lets do the second fraction, multiplying by 3, giving
3%28x%29-3%282x%2F3%29=3%282%29
Simplifying, we get
3x-2x=6
Now we have no fractions!
we have
x=6
