You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3(x+5)=4(x-5)

3(x + 5) = 4(x - 5)
3 * x = 3x
3 * 5 = 15
4 * x = 4x
4 * -5 = -20
3x + 15 = 4x - 20
Subtract 4x from each side of the equation.
3x + 15 - 4x = 4x - 20 - 4x
Combine like terms:
3x - 4x = -1x
4x - 4x = 0
Therefore:
-1x + 15 = -20
Subtract 15 from each side of the equation.
-1x + 15 - 15 = -20 - 15
Combine like terms:
15 - 15 = 0
-20 - 15 = -35
-1x = -35
Divide each side by -1
-1x/-1 = -35/-1
Therefore:
x = 35

The Answer:
x = 35
