Let's rearrange to get: y%5E2=64-x%5E2
y=sqrt%2864-x%5E2%29


Remember that negative numbers do not have a square root. So, for sqrt%2864-x%5E2%29 to be existent 64-x%5E2 must be greater than or equal to zero:
64-x%5E2+%3E+0
x%5E2%3C64
x%3E-8 and x%3C8


So the domain of x is [-8,8]
