PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM:
FIND THE HORIZONTAL ASYMPTOTE OF THE RATIONAL FUNCTION f(x)= 8x-12 over 4x-2
Y= (8X-12)/(4X-2)
AS X TENDS TO INFINITY WE FIND THAT Y TENDS TO 8/4=2[Y={8-(12/X)}/{4-(2/X)}=8/4]
HENCE HORIZONTAL ASYMPTOTE IS Y=2
