With an expression such as you have here: 8%2F%28x%2B7%29 in which the variable (x) appears in the denominator, you must exclude all values of the variable that would make the denominator equal zero.
So, looking at the denominator, if we set it equal to zero we can find those values:
x%2B7+=+0 Subtract 7 from both sides.
x+=+-7
In this case, there is only one value of x that would make the denominator equal zero, and that's x = -7, so -7 should be excluded from the domain.
