Question 333938: The question that I am working on is this: Determine the domain of the average cost, in dollars, that you anticipate the average American family might be willing to pay for one gallon of white milk. Provide a reasonable range, keeping in mind that some families do not drink milk, no matter the cost (that's a hint on the low end of this domain). Required format for writing domain and range is: ____less than or equal to x less than or equal to _____.
I need to know if I did this correctly. I put down 0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 1.68.
Did I comprehend this correctly. This first question has to be correct in order to answer all of the following questions.
Thank you. Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source):
I have no idea where you are buying your milk, but the average price of a gallon of whole milk in the US in the second quarter calendar 2010 was $3.06.
You have the bottom end of the interval specified correctly -- unless you can find an instance where someone is willing to pay someone else to consume their milk, in which case you could assign a negative value to the low end of the interval.
