Divide both sides of 3e%5Ex=7.5 by 3 giving
e%5Ex+=+2.5
Now find the ln of both sides:
ln%28e%5Ex%29+=+ln%282.5%29
Using properties of logsrithms ln%28e%5Ex%29+=+x%2Aln%28e%29+=+x. And from a calculator (to the nearest hundredth) ln%282.5%29+=+0.92. Substituting we get
x = 0.92
