You can put this solution on YOUR website! I assume that G(x) = |x| - x
If this is correct one can redefine G(x) as a piecewise function using the fact that |x| = x if x >= 0 and |x| = -x if x < 0:
If x >= 0, G(x) = x - x = 0
If x < 0, G(x) = -x - x = -2x.
So for x >=0 (in other words from the y-axis and to the right of the y-axis), G(x) will be the horizontal line G(x) = 0
And for x < 0 (in other words to the left of the y-axis), G(x) will be the line G(x) = -2x.
