Question 150845: Kindly help me to solve the fg%28x%29. These are the only given facts, f%28x%29=x%5E2%2F%281%2Bx%29; g%28x%29=x%5E2-2.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Plug the value of g(x) into f(x) and then expand and simplify
f%28x%29=x%5E2%2F%281%2Bx%29
g%28x%29=x%5E2-2

f%28g%28x%29%29=%28x%5E2-2%29%5E2%2F%281%2Bx%5E2-2%29
Thre really isn't much more you can do with this one. Expanding it makes it longer and removes the ^2, but doesn;t wind up with am=ny factors that cancel with the denominator. I will stop at
f%28g%28x%29%29=%28x%5E4-4x%5E2+%2B4%29%2F%28x%5E2-1%29
