SOLUTION: Can you help me with this equation?
{{{((4x)-(4))/((2x)+(1))=((2x)-(1))/(x+4)}}}
I work it out to x={{{-17/12}}} If I am correct, that would make my equation false. Thanks

You can put this solution on YOUR website! You made a simple sign error.
When you expanded the numerator after putting everything on the left and applying the LCD, you should have had:
in your numerator
Collecting terms you should have ended up with rather than because the minus sign distributes across the parentheses around the last term.
Your final equation should have been:
and then solve for the zeros of the numerator polynomial.
I'm not sure where you picked up the minus sign on your answer, but that isn't correct either.
