Question 123767This question is from textbook blitzer college algebra
: Could you please help solve for the following. I am so confused
I h(x)= f(x)+2, what would the new coordinates of P be after the shift? Give answer in (x,y) form. The p is (1,-1)
b) If k(x)=f(-x), what would the new coordinates of P be after the reflection? Give answer in (x,y) form.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! I h(x)= f(x)+2, what would the new coordinates of P be after the shift? Give answer in (x,y) form. The p is (1,-1)
---------------------
That transformation moves every point upward two units.
(1,-1) would move up to (1,1)
---------------------------------------
b) If k(x)=f(-x), what would the new coordinates of P be after the reflection? Give answer in (x,y) form.
-----------------------------
That transformation flips every point over the y-axis; those on the
left side move to the right side, and vice versa.
(1,-1) would move to (-1,-1)
