x=g%28x%29%2A6
now both sides divide by 6
x%2F6=g%28x%29%2A6%2F6
so, iverse function is:
g%28x%29=1%2F6%2Ax

if y=f(x), then f%5E-1%28y%29=x

When you form a composition of f with f^-1 or f^-1 with f you get the identity function.
f%28f%5E-1%28x%29%29=6%28x%2F6%29=x(the identity function)
