I bought a turkey that weighs 23.5 pounds. My recipe says to cook it at 375 degrees. If the turkey is unstuffed , it should cook for 10 minutes per pound. If the turkey is stuffed, it should cook at 12 minutes per pound. The recipe says the turkey should rest for 10 minutes after it is removed from the oven before it is carved. My family wants to start watching the football game at 4:00 pm. If I allow 15 minutes to carve the turkey and I allow 1 hour to eat dinner, what time should my stuffed turkey go into the oven (to the nearest minute) so that we can finish our meal just at the time the game starts?
