Question 935224: I thought I had this but none of the multiple choice answers match my understanding of y=mx+b so appreciate any help! I thought it should be y=2x+3....
The equation of the line passing through the points (0,3) and (2,7) may be written as:
2x-y = 3
x-2y = 3
x+2y = -3
y-2x = 3
none of the above

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Convert the equation you found into standard form, AND THEN COMPARE WITH THE CHOICES!
Your y-intercept was correct. Did you find the correct slope?
; YES.
Standard Form Equation for a Line is Ax+By=C;
Now you know what to do.

Your equation is correct!! Good job!!
The reason you don't see it is because your answer, is in slope-intercept form (y = mx + b),
but the 4th choice, y - 2x = 3 is in some other form, but when you add 2x to both sides, you find
that the 4th choice is actually: , your CORRECT answer.
