Total man-hrs available: 39*8 = 312 man-hrs
Find the man=hrs per job
312%2F4.5 = 691%2F3 man-hrs per job
2.4 jobs require: 2.4 * 691%2F3 = 166.4 man-hrs

What is the formula to find available hours?

then
man-hrs = 312 - 69.33j
:
312 - 69.33(2.4) = 145.6 man=hrs available for addition jobs
