log%283%2C+%28-1%29%29 is not defined because if we let log%283%2C+%28-1%29%29+=+w, then exponentially we would have 3%5Ew+=+-1, BUT the term on the left is always positive, and so equality is impossible.
log%281%2C+1%29 is undefined because if we let log%281%2C+1%29+=+w, then exponentially we would have 1%5Ew+=+1, and there would be infinitely many possible answers for w.
