You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hello,
This one can be factored (x^2+8x+15)/(x+5)÷(x^2-9)/(7x-21) as:
(x+3)(x+5)/(x+5)÷(x-3)(x+3)/7(x-3)
Now in dividing fractions we flip the second fraction and multiply to get:
(x+3)(x+5)/(x+5)times 7(x-3)/(x-3)(x+3)
Then we can cancel leaving us with:
7 is the answer
Make sense?
