a) This is a famous property that is very helpful:
x%5E-5+=+1%2Fx%5E5
or
1%2Fx%5E-3+=+x%5E3
Basically, the only thing you have to do is remove the negative and put it in the denominator if it is on the numerator or put it on top if it is on the numerator
