Question 262326: If you invest $7200 in two accounts paying 8% and 9% annual interest and at the end of the year the accounts earn the same amount of interest, how much was invested at each rate?
I have tried and tried to write this out, but can't come up with the answer aside from a guess and check method, which isn't acceptable. I must show my work.
