then
(6000-x) = amt invested a 4%
:
int at 6% = int at 4%
.06x = .04(6000-x)
.06x = 240 - .04x
.06x + .04x = 240
.10x = 240
x = 240%2F.1
x = $2400 invested at 6%
then
6000 - 2400 = $3600 invested at 4%
