One month, the Taylor family had cash receipts of $876.16
'excess' of cash receipts 'above cash payments' was $56.14.
What were the total cash payments for the month? 876.16- 56.14 = $820.02
The idea is, as I am understanding it...they had more receipts than
cash actually spent.
