The 4-th term of this geometric progression is  7%2Ar%5E3;

so we have this equation

    7%2Ar%5E3 = 189.


It implies

    r%5E3 = 189%2F7 = 27,

    r = root%283%2C27%29 = 3.


Thus the sequence is  7,  7*3 = 21,  7%2A3%5E2 = 63,  7%2A3%5E3 = 189.
