where (h,k) is the center, a and b are the lengths of the semi-major and the semi-minor axes.
given: foci (-4, 2) and (4,2) ->
center is half way between foci: (h,k)=(%28-4%2B4%29%2F2,%282%2B2%29%2F2)=(0,2)
=>h=0 and k=2
length of major axis is 10=>2a=10->a=5
Thus, a=5, c=4, h=0, and k=2
then, b=sqrt%285%5E2-4%5E2%29=sqrt%289%29=3
