//     When you formulated/created your problem,  you forgot to mention that they started simultaneously . . .


        1.   Short Physics solution


Their rate of separation is  25 + 35 = 60 km/h,

so the process will take  120%2F60 = 2 hours.


        2.   Long Algebra solution


Write the distance equation


    25t + 35t  = 120  kilometers

    (25 + 35)t = 120

        60t    = 120

          t    = 120/60 = 2 hours.    ANSWER
