Question 1180987: A woman bought 130kg of tomatoes for ghc 5.20. she sold half of them at a profit of 30%. The rest of the tomatoes began to go bad, she then reduced the selling price per kg by 12%.
1. Calculate the new selling price per kg.
2. The percentage profit on the whole transaction if she threw away 5kg of bad tomatoes.

I don't want to spend a lot of time looking at this problem only to find out I'm using the wrong information.

Please re-post, indicating whether the ghc 5.20 is the total cost of he 130kg of tomatoes or the cost PER kg of the tomatoes.

(I don't know what nation's currency would be "ghc", but 130 kg of tomatoes for a TOTAL of ghc 5.20 would be a cost per kg of ghc 0.04. That sounds unlikely -- with a typical price for tomatoes, it would make 1 ghc equivalent to around $30-$50 US.)
