            The correct solution is below. 


    4x^2- 100 < 20


Add 100 to both sides


    4x^2 < 20 + 1200


    4x^2 < 120


Divide by 4 both sides


    x^2 < 30


Take the square root of both sides


    -sqrt%2830%29 < x < sqrt%2830%29.      ANSWER
