Question 1134513: Let A = (-5, -1) be a point. Find the point B obtained by translating A 6 units right and moving 1 unit down. Found 2 solutions by ikleyn, mathsolverplus:Answer by ikleyn(52784) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! "6 units right" means that you need to add 6 to -5 (your x-coordinate)
"1 unit down" means that you need to subtract 1 from -1 (your y-coordinate)
Point B:
(-5+6, -1-1) -> (1,-2)
