Without using the algebra.com curly braces:
(2)/(3-(12)/(5-2)) = (2) / (3-12/3) = 2 / (3-4) = 2 / -1 = -2

Tutor @Boreal did not group the parentheses properly. It is an easy mistake to make. If you look closely you will see the (12) can be written 12 and now it is more clear: (3-12/(5-2)) = 3-12/3 = 3-4 = -1. And 2/-1 = -2.
