Question 1119857: Need confirmation please.
Need to find the slope-intercept form of the line through: (2, -5), perpendicular to y = 2/7x - 1
What I did was:
y=-7/2 (flipped and made negative) x +b
-5=-7/2(2/1)+b
-5=-14/2+b
-5=-7+b
-5+7=-7+b+7
2=b
Then writing it in slope intercept:
y=-7/2x+2
