c = price of chair
s = price of side table
k = price of kitchen dish cabinet.

c = s - 475
c = k + 278

solve for s to get s = c + 475
solve for k to get k = c - 278

c + s + k = 4175
replace s with c + 475
replace k with c - 278

formula becomes:

c + c + 475 + c - 278 = 4175

combine like terms to get:

3c + 197 = 4175

subtract 197 from both sides of the equation to get:

3c = 4175 - 197

combine like terms to get:

3c = 3978

solve for c to get:

c = 3978 / 3 = 1326

s = c + 475 = 1326 + 475 = 1801
k = c - 278 = 1326 - 278 = 1048

c + s + k = 1326 + 1801 + 1048 = 4175

It appears that tutor josgarithmetic inadvertently misread the 278 as 287 in "Php 278 more than a kitchen dish cabinet" which got his calculations off by a few php
