You can put this solution on YOUR website!
p(x)=(x^3-x^2+2)/x-1
synthetic division for numerator
-1/1---M1----0----2
==1==M2===2----0
(x+1)(x^2-2x+2) are the factors
parabolic asymptote is x^2-2x+2
vertical asymptote is at x=1, for there the denominator is 0.
when x=0, y=-2 (0, -2)
when y=0, x=-1 (-1, 0)
