Zero is not possible.
The function is either,
f%28x%29=sqrt%28x%5E2%2B1%29%2F2
or
f%28x%29=sqrt%28x%5E2%2B1%2F2%29
or
f%28x%29=sqrt%28%28x%5E2%2B1%29%2F2%29
Any of those would produce a non-zero value for a zero input.

What part of the RHS is under the radical?
