Delta = price difference in dollars
Delta = (new price) - (old price)
Delta = 40 - 60
Delta = -20

Percent change = [(Delta)/(old price)]*100%
Percent change = (-20/60)*100%
Percent change = (-1/3)*100%
Percent change = -0.3333*100%
Percent change = -33.33%

The percent change is approximately -33.33% indicating a decrease of 33.33% roughly.
