Question 1053747: I need some help with this:
Graph: f(x) = -(3/2)^
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! f(x)=-(3/2)^(x-2)
If x=2, f(x)=-1, because the exponent is 0. The minus sign is applied at the end.
if x=3, f(x)=-3/2, exponent 1
if x=1, f(x)=-2/3, exponent -1
if x=0, f(x)=-4/9
if x gets very large negative, the function stays negative but heads to 0, because it is less than 1 raised to a large power.
if x gets very large positive, the function stays negative but heads to minus infinity, because it is greater than 1 raised to a large power.
